MARCH REPORT
My apologies for the delayed entry again. I promise I’ll do better!
I have forwarded an email to all the Indiana Governors concerning National dues. If your governor does not bring this up at a club meeting, please contact your governor or myself. The Indiana Region needs to be heard on this topic.

RE meeting:
Clubs need to have provisions in their bylaws to for dealing with disciplinary issues.
National competition patches will be eliminated in a cost saving measure.
Other items discussed and could be presented as rule changes are as follows.
Clarification on lifetime membership, teller committee update and international region.
RMD meeting:
16,325 members in 230 NCCC Clubs. Indiana has 1,243 members in 17 clubs with Ft. Wayne being the largest with 209 members.
Sandy Arnold forwarded a governor’s guide for membership database use.
RCD meeting:
Each governor should be getting informed where to find the RCD meeting minutes.
Competition guidelines will be set by the speed and non-speed committees.
FCOA is working on competition programs for youth and 16 – 25 age group.
Other items brought up, Zora competition program, no car show rules changes.
Grissom contracts have been signed, COIs to follow.
Dan Berghoff RCD is requesting we consider changing the bylaws to change the date that sanction return to the region, this is so we can have our scheduled done before the seasons starts so people can plan for our events.
Golfcart contract has been signed for 3 years, there is the opportunity to cancel.
Region awards total $7,100.00.
Mike Godfrey voiced a complaint about events being scheduled on Brickyard and 500 weekends.

Scholarship applications are due June 1st.
Anyone going to convention, we have the opportunity get our rooms in the same block. If you are interested let me know.
I think we had a very productive meeting, and I know we all thought the weather was not going to cooperate.
I am asking we all make a valiant effort to attend these meetings. Indiana makes a good showing and the bigger our presence the more weight we can carry.
Please forward a signed copy of the proxy form so we can cast all of our available votes. If you are not able to attend the meeting.
