Corvette Indy Rallies - 05/03

Corvette Indy after a number of years of not holding any rallies got their program restarted with a fun and 2 poker rallies. These were held directly after this year's  Spring Fling. The events starting from the Hubler Chevrolet location around 4 pm with 18 Corvettes entered looking for NCCC points. The 30 mile route was a little congested as the great weather brought out a lot of Sunday afternoon traffic. The instructions included 128 questions and route instructions for a fun afternoon of motoring around the Indianapolis area. Once at the final destination the participants were treated to well received hot dogs, hamburgers, and needed drinks. Then the discussions broke out on what questions had been answered and those that were not. The rally results were being tabulated and as darkness neared were announced. It was also promised that next year that Corvette Indy would not piggy back on Spring Fling and thereby start earlier and use more rural routes where ti would be easier to stop and back track when needed. It was a fun time and a great way to start the Indiana Region's rally season with Lafayette & Anderson clubs having theirs in July.
