Annual Awards Banquet

Butch DeWitt this year's Award Winner

The Awards banquet for the 2014 season was held on February 7 at the National Military History Center & Horse Power Museum just south of Auburn IN. Just under 60 competitors and workers attending this annual event which was held a bit earlier than recent years. After the family style dinner the awards were presented by David Godfrey the region's Competition Director. with a number of plaques this year due to ties in the different areas. There were over 50 black / fleece lined jackets also given out to the competitors and workers that earned at least 200 points. The final presentation was of the 2014 Bill Callahan / Dick Satkamp Award given this year to a completely stunned Butch DeWitt, Governor of Corvette Indy. The award is given to the person the Competition Director feels that most exemplifies the true meaning of being a part of NCCC and helping out members throughout the region.
