4th Annual Vettes for Vets

On May 2 Star City Corvettes and Lafayette Corvette Club held their 4th Annual Vettes for Vets trip to the Indiana Veterans home in West Lafayette. A number of Corvette clubs joined in with 115 Corvettes heading up from the Tippecanoe Amphitheater staging location. Prior to the short drive Star City Corvettes had hot dogs and water for everyone to enjoy as they awaited the starting time. During that period one of the Corvette Indy members flew his drone to get an aerial shot of the early assembled group. Once at the Veterans home everyone enjoyed seeing the residents enjoy the beautiful warm day and the Corvettes parked around the circle. Many of the Corvette owners had brought donations of different items, with the Elkhart club bringing a van full, while other clubs had their members give a cash domination to allow for needed items to be purchased. Another great event hosted by the two Lafayette area clubs that was enjoyed by all that attended.
