Vettes for Vets
On Saturday May 5 the Lafayette Corvette Club along with Star City Corvette Club held their first annual Vettes for Vets Cruise.
This day is where a group of Corvette Enthusiasts from around the region get together and take a short Cruise to the Veterans Home in Lafayette. Once there they present the Vets with useful personal health care and other items not usually available to the Vets. The day starts with everyone meeting at the local ampitheather then they had a police escort to the Veteran's Home where all of the cars parked around the grounds to allow residents to come view the cars.
